Sudan is one of the countries that has suffered the impacts of protracted war. In addition to have a long civil war itself, Sudan has hosted refugees from many of its neighbours and has some of the oldest refugee camps, according to the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR). This video, which is based purely on still photographs and animations, describes some of the efforts of national and international agencies to support the communities to restore refugee-hosting areas that have become degraded.
